Adult Spiritual Formation

Saint Hilary’s Parish offers Christian Education on a weekly basis which seeks to prepare our parishioners, whether youth or adults, for leadership in lay ministry as witnesses and servants of God rooted in scripture, theology, community service and the reflective practice of prayer.

Our weekly Bible Study beginning in October will focus on the exciting women of the Bible.

The group meets Tuesday of each week at 9:30 am in the Education Wing.

Cursillo Reunion Groups and Ultreyas

Our Cursillo community includes 50 "cursistas" or graduates of a four day weekend in which many            aspects of Christianity are explored in small group gatherings.  The experience of the Cursillo Weekend is extended through the weekly Reunion Groups and quarterly Ultreyas. Contact the Church office                    239-936-1000 for details.

Offers women an opportunity to explore and enhance their personal prayer life through a monthly gathering which teaches, supports and enables prayer to become a life-giving part of one's daily pattern.  Women new to Daughters of the King will be trained by experienced Daughters, received into the Order and encouraged to use their prayer skills to support ministries of the parish.      Contact the Church office 239-936-1000 for details.

Saint Hilary's maintains a list over over one hundred people for whom personal prayers are offered each week during our Healing Mass.  This list is added to by persons calling the church, using our website for submission or attending church on Sundays. Contact the Church office 239-936-1000 for details.

A group of knitters gather in prayer each month to meditate, have fellowship and create unique soft, colorful and soothing shawls that are given to persons in hospital, rehabilitation, nursing care facilities and hospice for their comfort. These shawls are reminders of the prayers of the congregation during the period of convalescence. Contact the Church office 239-936-1000 for details.

Our worship, ministry and community life is characterized by intentional commitment to the mission of the parish which is: “to make known the love and kindness of Jesus Christ to all people, within our congregation and in the wider community, through worship, service and compassion.”  Contact the Church office 239-936-1000 for details.
