You will receive a call from the church when we have an opportunity just for you.  You can contact the church office with any questions at 936-1000.  Thanks for your help.

God's Big Backyard is an outdoor adventure that starts in our own backyard and gets bigger each day as kids take the love of Jesus into their homes, neighborhoods, and communities. Kids will experience God's Word in Backyard Bible Club, meet real-life servants at Community Corner and explore and create through fun-filled crafts, snacks and games. You won't want you or your child to miss it.

We still need about 15 more volunteers to make this happen so please consider your gift of time to St. Hilary's children - there is something for even the most hectic schedule.

Also, look for posters around campus marked with items and monetary gifts available for donation. Contact Betsey Lunsford at 481-8730 or Karin Winter at 671-7450 for more info. See you in our Backyard!!!

Soup Kitchen Alert

Four baby girls will be born in the next four months. Their mothers have nothing but love to give them. Can you help with newborn items such as bedding, clothing, bottles, formula, diapers, gift cards or anything you think a newborn might need.  They still need blankets for the homeless as well,  Please drop these items in Browning Hall.  Contact Doris Ramsey if you can help. 239-225-0254. Thanks so much.

HEADING NORTH

If you are heading north for the summer, please contact the office and let us know so that we can change our database to reflect that.  You can contact Joanne Therrien with that information at 936-1000 x15.

HELPING HANDS

To our St. Hilary's Families that need "HELPING HANDS" around the house. Whatever your needs are: electrical, need a ladder, patching plaster, painting, light carpentry, fix a faucet, door locks, etc. - we have folks who can help.  Also, won't you be a helper to others not able to do for themselves. We need people who can help around the house, & with transportation needs.

Contact Bill McDowall, 267-3234 if you can offer assistance in any of these areas, or contact the office if you need "helping hands".

PROPERTY COMMITTEE UPDATES

We are establishing an oversight committee for the cleaning of the buildings on campus. This seems to be a topic of conversation, so if you have an interest in what we spend, how we contact or the cleaning that is done, please plan to participate. Contact Jim G. at 768-3136.  So far, there has been little response.

The next Property Committee Meeting will be on Monday, May 5th, 2008
at 5:00 p.m. in the Browning Hall.  All are welcome!

COLLECTING COUPONS FOR MILITARY FAMILIES

We are looking for donations of "non-store specific" (i.e. brand name, can be used anywhere) coupons to help our military families in need.  Claire Sloss will be taking your donations in a box provided in Browning Hall.  If you have any questions, please contact Claire at the office on Tuesdays.  Thank you.

The Children's Advocacy Center needs stuffed animals, put in box in Browning Hall.

CHILDREN'S BOOKS

If you find you have some children's books, coloring books or other children's materials not being used in your home any longer, would you please consider donating them?  We are gathering these items for the homeless children who will most definitely appreciate your kindness.  Thanks again, Pastor Jackie.
