Sant Hilary's offers many opportunities to gather together for fellowship, service, and education. From community groups to special interest groups to bible studies and more, we invite you to join us and get involved.

Communion altar

The Altar Guild is responsible for preparing for church services, taking care of the sacred items used like the bread and wine, linens, silver, vestments, 

candles, and flowers. They set up for and clean up after weekly and special services. If you are interested in joining this important ministry, please contact the parish office.

Bible Study

Our Adult Bible Study meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11a. Join us in the fall of 2023 for an in-depth study of the New Testament. Contact us for more information.

Book Club

All are welcome to join our Women's Book Club (men, too!) as we read and study books relevant to our faith.

Beginning on September 17th we will meet in

Browning Hall from 8:45am until 9:45am, prior to the 10:00am service. No RSVP is necessary, and you can join at any time!

Coffee and a Cookie
Coffee Hour

Join us for an Episcopalian tradition! Every week after the service we invite you to come over to Browning Hall to enjoy fresh coffee and light refreshments.

It's a great time to get to meet new people and build new relationships within our church family. We are always looking for volunteer hosts so please contact Ruth Walters to sign up!

A Cursillio weekend is a three-day , spirit-filled weekend of talks, music, and prayer. It is a guided journey held at DaySpring Conference Center, to meet Jesus

in your daily walk. We are excited to be re-forming this opportunity post-pandemic. Contact Father Charles or visit the Cursillo website for more information!

of the King

The Daughters of the King is an international order for women who are 

communicants of the Episcopal Church. We are a group of prayer warriors, recognizable by the unique cross we each wear daily, whose mission is to extend Christ's Kingdom through prayer, service, and evangelism. All women who attend Saint Hilary's are Episcopal Church Women and are invited to attend ECW meetings on the second Monday of each month at 10a in

the Music Wing.  ECW's efforts support a wide range of parish activities and our local community at large.

Food Box
Helping Hands

Helping Hands started as a hygiene bag ministry, primarily serving the homeless through Community Cooperative. Through the love and effort of our parishoners it has blossomed into a 

thriving outreach serving multiple local organizations with donations of  Christmas gifts, clothing, food, and funds. We are a proud sponsor for Orange River Elementary School.

Roles

There are many roles to be filled in our traditional liturgical services each week, including readers, vergers, and acolytes. We invite you and your

older children to be a part of our mass! Contact the parish office to find out how to volunteer.

Blanket

A pastoral care ministry of handmade quilts! Saint Hilary's is pleased to host the annual Airing of the Quilts quilt show and fundraiser each spring under our 

beautiful oak canopy. Volunteer to make quilts or help with our next event here!

Shrimp Boil
Men's Action
Guild

MAG is an opportunity for the men of Saint Hilary's to meet with a purpose. They meet, pray, work, and break bread together. The Men's Action Guild

supports all ministries within our parish; their most popular fundraiser is the annual shrimp boil each February. All men are invited to join. Click here for more information!

Youth Ministry

Youth and children's formation classes and programs are a volunteer ministry that can always use welcome, loving, and creative adults. To find out more about the programs 

Saint Hilary's offers, visit our Youth and Families page. To volunteer for this rewarding ministry, please contact our office; volunteers will be required to obtain the diocese's Safeguarding God's Children certification.
